The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed in regards to the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area daily. The company point produced for intervention encounters a significant inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the Workplace to SRD attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to help the servicing of sassa status check all shoppers and enhance usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
